3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with
the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him
with the strings and pipe,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise
him with resounding cymbals.
The primary role of the worship band is to support congregational worship. The band also accompanies soloists and special choral/worship events. The worship band is open to anyone who skillfully plays any band or orchestral instrument. As rehearsal time is limited, those wishing to join should be accomplished sight readers, able to learn their part privately. Rehearsals are Sunday morning from 9:15-10 AM. Additional rehearsals are scheduled throughout the year when preparing for special events. An audition is required.
